How to use online tutorials

Get the most out of your virtual music lessons

A young person wearing glasses, a yellow hairband and a grey furry jumper sits playing guitar. A Doncaster Music Hub project by darts and Doncaster Music Service

On our online music service tutorials page, you’ll find a range of graded music tutorials to help you to practise at home and get the most out of your music lessons. Just click on your instrument and select your grade – you can work your way through the pieces and get top tips from our tutors.

When practising at home, try to make sure you have got a comfortable quiet space, with a good chair and music stand adjusted to the right height for you.

Please do keep watching this space as we will be uploading more content over the coming weeks.

We are also delivering 1-1 online sessions – for more details contact kerry.rawson@doncaster.gov.uk

Please take the sessions at your own pace – and enjoy! We’d love to hear your feedback and requests for different resources.
