Create Day 2024
Save the date! Thank you to all the schools that took part in our Create Day pilot in 2023. Create Day 2024 will take place on 2 July! This national event brings Royal Opera House artists, KS2 students and teachers together to create a performance using song, dance and design – inspired by the theme of hope, the UN Rights of the Child, and two contemporary ROH performances. To get involved, start by attending any of the CPD above if you haven’t yet trained with Royal Opera House – otherwise, watch this space!

Create & Sing
The Royal Opera House’s Create & Sing programme provides:
· a creative learning resource, created with teachers, providing songs for pupils in primary schools across England.
· classroom-based and digital activities, with strong curriculum links, to give better understanding of singing and opera for pupils, unlocking their imagination and creativity.
· teacher training, classroom films, lesson plans and resources to use in ways that suit the needs of the teachers and their students. Teachers do not need any previous knowledge of opera in order to take part.
